Howard Schweitzer Quoted by Business Insurance on Dodd-Frank Legislation
Howard Schweitzer, managing partner of Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies, was featured in a Business Insurance article, "Dodd-Frank changes likely under Trump.” The article describes the variations that the Trump administration will bring to the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. While the legislation will not likely be repealed entirely, it could experience significant changes. Howard commented on its potential modification, saying “The financial services community has spent billions of dollars gearing up to comply, and it would be disruptive at this point to repeal it en masse.” He also spoke about the review that will follow. “However, like any law that gets passed, there are a whole bunch of areas where they’re going to revisit it,” he said.
