Mark Alderman Discusses the New York Democratic Primary on After the Bell

Mark Alderman

Mark Alderman, chairman of Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies, appeared on Fox Business Network’s After the Bell to discuss the Democratic primary race in New York. Mark was asked if Sanders has a chance in New York and said that, “Bernie is not going to win New York. Hillary is home. Hillary is ahead. She has won New York three times already, she was elected to the Senate twice, she beat Senator Obama badly in 2008 and she’s going to pick up her fourth win, probably by a lot, on Tuesday.” When asked if Bernie should give up, Mark added that, “No I don’t think so. Senator Sanders has earned every right to take his campaign to the convention. He is running on millennials, on momentum, on money and message.” Mark added that he does not, “think the blood is that bad,” between Clinton and Sanders, saying, “this race was red hot for 48 hours last week. They each said something stupid and walked it back.” Finally, Mark reminded viewers that, “In 2008, 50 percent of Clinton supporters said [they would not vote for the other Democratic candidate]. It’s a role reversal this time.”
