On Thursday, September 27 2012, Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies hosted a special conference call to provide perspective on the the upcoming elections and their impact on the significant economic and policy questions the country currently faces.

Before the end of the year the country will grapple with everything from the fiscal cliff and a sluggish economy, to turmoil in the Middle East.  Will the election results change the political status quo?  What will they mean for the lame duck session of Congress and for key policy initiatives such as health care reform?  And what can the country expect from the 113th Congress?

The discussion between three Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies leaders – Mark Alderman, co-chair of Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies and member of the Democratic National Committee Finance Committee, Howard Schweitzer, managing partner of Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies and former U.S. treasury official, and Rob Freeman, member of Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies and former Deputy Staff Director of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science & Technology – provided listeners with an insider’s view on the unfolding, unprecedented events taking place in Washington.
