Repairing Temperament Perception is Key for Trump on National Security [Fox Business News]
Appearing on "Making Money with Charles Payne" on Fox Business News, Blake Rutherford previewed the Commander-in-Chief Forum on national security. When asked about what Trump needs to say on this topic to garner support among the general public, Blake said, “Trump has to speak to constituencies that he just hasn’t effectively spoken to and articulate a plan and a vision for how he’s going to serve as Commander-in-Chief. He also has to address his temperament problem – right now the suspicion of Donald Trump about whether he can serve as Commander-in-Chief is predominantly about his temperament concerns.” He added that while it may be helpful to offer some kind of tangible ideas on addressing national security, “at the end of the day, the public does not see him in this role and he has to deal with that tonight.”
