About Jake
Jake Brownstein is a legislative analyst with the New York Public Strategies team, based in the New York City office. In this role, he supports clients by monitoring a wide range of issues and developments across the legislative and regulatory landscapes.
Jake joined Public Strategies following his graduation from Tulane University. While earning his degree, he interned with the firm, assisting with background research, hearing coverage, and policy monitoring. Prior to that, he managed constituent services and community outreach as an intern in the district office of Pennsylvania State Representative Jared Solomon in Philadelphia. He also supported field operations and electoral strategy as an intern on a successful Democratic campaign in New Jersey’s 4th Legislative District.
Jake earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Tulane University’s School of Liberal Arts, with a minor in Strategy, Leadership, and Analytics.
