Gov. Pritzker takes bill action
On Friday, Gov. JB Pritzker signed 133 bills. The full bill list can be found here.
Today, Pritzker signed five bills expanding protections for veterans, active-duty soldiers, and military dependents.

— Gov. Pritzker Announces Cross-Agency Reproductive Healthcare Initiatives: “Governor JB Pritzker today joined state leaders, healthcare providers, and advocates to announce several initiatives and programs targeted to lower barriers of access to reproductive care for families,” from the Office of Gov. JB Pritzker.
— Gov. Pritzker Signs Bill Banning Indoor E-Cigarette Use in Public Spaces: “Governor JB Pritzker signed HB 1540, a bill banning the usage of e-cigarettes in indoor public spaces. The bill adds electronic smoking devices to the 2008 Smoke-Free Illinois Act, which banned smoking in most public spaces in the state. The amended act would now ban electronic smoking devices in any place where combustible smoking is already prohibited,” from the Office of Gov. JB Pritzker.
— Pritzker signs bill overhauling mandatory supervised release: “A new law in Illinois aims to give former inmates a better chance to succeed outside of prison and reduce the likelihood that they’ll be sent back. Gov. JB Pritzker on Friday signed Senate Bill 423, a unanimously passed measure that overhauls the state’s mandatory supervised release program, formerly known as parole,” by Capitol News Illinois.
— Illinois drivers will need appointments for license services at 44 high-traffic locations: “Facilities will operate Monday through Friday across Illinois; 16 locations to have Saturday hours,” by the Chicago Sun-Times.
