Adams Announces Press and Communications Appointments
Mayor Adams has announced new appointments within the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Communications. In the Press Office, Kayla Mamelak Altus is now Press Secretary, and Allison Maser has joined as a Deputy Press Secretary and Communications Advisor. William Fowler has joined as a Deputy Press Secretary, and Sophia Askari has returned as Press Assistant. In the Communications Office, Sonia Moghe and Josel Rosenthal will be Deputy Communication Directors.

Client Spotlight: Hudson Square BID
Last Wednesday, Hudson Square BID held their annual meeting, welcoming local business owners and residents to showcase the BID’s accomplishments in the last year. In addition to reviewing and accepting their FY24 annual report and electing their Board of Directors, Hudson Square BID highlighted the community’s transformation over the past year through a funny and engaging video, focusing on new art and murals, open space upgrades, updated trash bins and new signage, and community building efforts in the area.
2024 New York Metro Super Lawyers
Super Lawyers has named Ken Fisher, Jerry Goldfeder, and Stuart Shorenstein as 2024 New York Metro Super Lawyers, and Jamie Ansorge as a 2024 New York Metro Rising Star. Selection to Super Lawyers is based on peer nominations and evaluations combined with independent research. Only 5% of attorneys are named Super Lawyers, and only 2.5% of attorneys are listed as Rising Stars.
