Adam is a nationally recognized strategist, entrepreneur, corporate director, and venture investor whose career spans public company boardrooms, brand building, media, technology, and strategic communications.
At Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies, Adam’s work is rooted in strategic foresight. He advises clients on navigating disruption, identifying emerging opportunities, and turning cultural, technological, political, and reputational shifts into strategic advantage.
A member of the board of directors for both The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company and 1-800-Flowers.com, Adam provides counsel on consumer behavior, social and political trends, digital transformation, and reputation management. He is also an operating partner at Shine Capital, advising founders and emerging companies on growth, positioning, and market strategy.
In 2008, as a reflection of his ability to combine digital sophistication and consumer understanding, Adam was asked by then-U.S. Senator Barack Obama to join his technology task force.
A pioneering entrepreneur, Adam founded several successful marketing firms, including an advertising agency that The New York Times described as “the small agency that’s every big agency’s nightmare.” His strategic counsel has benefited organizations ranging from Fortune 100 companies, including Sony, Procter & Gamble, T-Mobile, IAC, and Citi, to high-growth startups.
Adam is also a longtime columnist for Inc. magazine, and his work has appeared in Fortune, HuffPost, and numerous other national publications. He is the co-author of The Dictionary of the Future.
