Tom Lisk, administrative law attorney of Cozen O’Connor and managing director of Cozen O’ Connor Public Strategies’ Virginia practice, was featured in a Richmond BizSense article examining legislation that would remove daily tasting limits at Virginia distilleries. On behalf of his client Virginia Restaurant, Lodging and Travel Association, he raised concerns about regulatory parity and public safety, noting that restaurants serving spirits remain subject to the commonwealth’s “45 percent rule,” which requires food sales to account for a significant portion of revenue.
