Representative McClinton Becomes House Speaker Following Rozzi Resignation

Earlier today, Representative Rozzi (Berks) resigned as Speaker of the Pennsylvania House. Representative Joanna McClinton (D-Delaware, Philadelphia) was nominated by her Democratic colleagues, and the Republican caucus nominated Representative Metzgar (R-Somerset). Along party lines, Representative McClinton won the speakership 102-99. The Philadelphia Inquirer has more.
